We hope you’ll find everything you need below. If you still have a question, please get in touch with us at hello@nourishedroutes.co.uk.
At Nourished Routes, cooking and nutrition education is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Adventurers learn practical life skills in the kitchen, explore where food comes from, build confidence around food, and develop healthy habits for life.
This is naturally intertwined with physical movement and mental wellbeing, creating a balanced after-school experience where children can learn, move, create, relax and have fun.
Our Adventurers enjoy a varied programme centred around:
• Hands-on Cooking & Nutrition Education
• Physical Activity & Movement
• Mental Wellbeing & Emotional Literacy
• Creative Activities
• Calm and Relaxation
We understand that children arrive after school with different needs and energy levels. Some are ready to get moving, while others need time to unwind.
Our sessions are designed to give every Adventurer space to feel comfortable, included and supported.
Our After-School Club runs Monday to Friday during term time, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
Children attending Southfield Primary School are collected at approximately 3:15pm and supervised by our team from the end of the school day.
We are closed on Bank Holidays.
We may also run on Southfield Primary School INSET days, depending on demand.
All bookings for the 2026/2027 school year are made through MagicBooking.
You can choose between:
• A regular contract booking for the same day or days each week
• Ad hoc sessions for greater flexibility
To make a booking, you will first need to create a parent account, add your child or children, and complete all required information.
This includes emergency contacts, medical information, allergies, dietary requirements and authorised collectors.
Once this information is complete, you can submit your booking request.
Please note that regular contract bookings are not confirmed until they have been reviewed and approved by the Nourished Routes team.
No. 🎉
MagicBooking now securely stores the important information we need to care for your child, so there is no longer a separate annual child registration form.
Please make sure your child’s information is complete and kept up to date within your MagicBooking account.
Our regular monthly contract fees are:
• One day per week: £65 per month
• Two days per week: £130 per month
• Three days per week: £195 per month
• Four days per week: £260 per month
• Five days per week: £290 per month
Ad hoc sessions are £19.50 per session.
Regular contract bookings offer the best value for families who need the same day or days each week.
When submitting a new contract booking through MagicBooking, the price or deposit information shown during the booking process may not reflect our correct 2026/2027 monthly fees.
Please don’t worry. Once your contract has been reviewed and approved by the Nourished Routes team, your account will be updated to reflect the correct monthly price.
Contract payments are taken on the 1st of each month.
Your first payment may differ depending on your child’s start date. Once your contract has been reviewed and approved, your payment schedule will reflect your agreed booking.
Yes.
Our regular contract bookings roll over throughout the school year, so your child’s place remains secured until you choose to cancel or reduce your days.
This means you do not need to rebook each term and there is no risk of losing your regular place between terms.
If you prefer complete flexibility, you can book all the ad hoc sessions you need for a term, subject to availability.
Regular contract bookings are paid monthly rather than termly and are subject to a two-month minimum term, followed by one month’s notice to cancel or reduce days.
Regular contract bookings have a two-month minimum term.
After the minimum term, we require one month’s notice to cancel your contract or reduce the number of days your child attends.
Your contract will continue to roll over until you choose to cancel, helping to protect your child’s regular place.
We will always do our best to accommodate changes to your child’s regular days, subject to availability.
If you would like to increase, reduce or change your days, please contact us.
Contract terms and notice periods apply when reducing the number of booked days.
Yes, subject to availability.
Families with a regular contract can book additional ad hoc sessions through MagicBooking whenever they need extra childcare.
Ad hoc bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. This allows us to plan staffing, food, activities and maintain safe adult to child ratios. If your child is unable to attend, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund, credit or transfer the booking to another date.
Yes.
As an Ofsted-registered childcare provider, Nourished Routes accepts Tax-Free Childcare payments.
MagicBooking allows families to connect Tax-Free Childcare as a payment method.
Eligible families may be able to claim back up to 85% of their childcare costs through Universal Credit.
Please check your eligibility directly with Universal Credit. We can provide the payment information and receipts needed to support your claim.
Yes.
We provide a daily supervised collection from Southfield Primary School and walk together to the Community Hub at the Factory Quarter.
We are happy to consider collections from other local schools where there is sufficient demand, so please contact us to register your interest.
Our After-School Club is based at:
The Hub
Factory Quarter
London
W3 7DQ
Children can be collected at any time during the session, but no later than 6:00pm.
For safeguarding reasons, children will only be released to adults who are authorised to collect them.
Please make sure your authorised collectors are kept up to date in your MagicBooking account.
We provide food and fresh fruit during our sessions.
Please make sure your child brings:
• A named refillable water bottle
• Grippy socks, as we operate a no-shoes policy indoors
• A named sun hat and sunscreen during warmer weather
Please ensure all personal belongings are clearly labelled.
Our Nourished Routes Practitioners are enthusiastic, caring professionals who are passionate about supporting children.
Our team members are:
• Enhanced DBS checked
• Safeguarding trained
• Experienced and/or qualified in working with children
• Supported through regular training and professional development
We also ensure appropriate Paediatric First Aid cover is in place during sessions.
We maintain a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 8 children for our younger Adventurers and often operate with an even higher level of staffing.
There are always at least two members of staff present during each session.
We are delighted to welcome new Reception Adventurers from Monday 14th September 2026.
We know starting school and After-School Club are both big new adventures, so we have additional support in place to help our youngest children settle in.
Each Reception Adventurer will be assigned a member of staff as their key worker, as well as an older Adventurer as their buddy.
Head over to our Reception Starters page for more information.
We would love to hear from you.
